Unfortunately, we do not. We do, however, have our Sampler Packs where you can try them all out and see what works best for you.
No. Everything comes pre-packaged from our manufacturer, so we won’t be able to make custom Sampler Packs.
You can go to your local Pharmacy and purchase a larger one there, or order one from Amazon (they have a great selection). Here is a great article to show you how to dispose of your needles correctly.
Our microblades are all made of stainless steel, and stainless steel does contain trace amounts of nickel. Since the microblade is only passing through the skin to implant pigment, the client should not experience any reaction. If you are worried about it, a patch test can be done prior to the procedure.
We definitely recommend the 9 Classic or our Essentials line. The 9 Classic is smaller, less intimidating, and does amazing detail work. You can find out more information by clicking here. Essential 16 Curved Nano and 18U Nano Microblades have a flexi-needle and super-fine nano blade which achieves beautiful, crisp, and precise hair strokes. You can find out more information by clicking here for 16C and here for 18U.
The 9 Classic has 9 needles (good for smaller detail work), the 14 Curve has 14 needles (good for medium to fuller brow), the 14 UNeedle has 14 needles (good for getting those really nice curved hair strokes), the 19 Shader has 19 needles (used for shading), Essential 16 Curved Nano has 16 flexi-needles (perfect for the newly graduated permanent makeup artist, creates very precise brow roots and tips by using the tip of the needle), the Essentials 18U Nano has 18 flexi-needles (perfect for the newly graduated permanent makeup artist, helps the artist easily draw very curved strokes). The blades can cover all microblading procedures, the selection will be based on your client and their needs.
To learn more about each blade in detail, have a look at our Signature line product pages and our Essential line product pages. If you ever need any other tips and tricks, don't hesitate to contact us.
No. All of our microblades are made of surgical grade 316 stainless steel, the highest quality stainless steel.
All of our blades can be used with all skin types. The selection of your blade all depends on your client’s eyebrow style, and what you as the artist are most comfortable using.
Definitely! These pencils were specifically designed for pre-draw and do not contain harmful ingredients. However, if the pencil does come into contact with open skin or bodily fluids, it will have to be disposed of accordingly in a sharps container.
Yes, these pigments can be used for BOTH microblading (manual) and machine PMU work.
No, this is unnecessary. All of the colours are perfectly balanced and are ready to use straight out of the bottle.
If you wish, you may mix the colours to create custom blends using your artistic judgment to suit your client’s needs. It is common to “layer” colours on top of each other to create more dimension and contour.
A follow-up is always suggested, but not required.
If you are new to Perma Blend or have less than 1-2 years of experience in PMU, it is highly recommended to see your clients for a follow up within 3 months to assess the results of the treatment and make any necessary adjustments to improve results.
These colour formulations have been exclusively developed by Tina Davies to keep colour selection simple and straightforward, with a range of to suit all of your clients in 7 light-to-dark colours. Each set includes an easy-to-use colour chart for quick reference and easy colour selection.
Yes, there is an online class! Learn how to easily select the right colour for your client using I LOVE INK, with our Colour Course Video Tutorial.
All of the colours are highly concentrated. The higher the concentration the more saturation in the skin, the more saturation, the longer it will last. The pigment ingredients are comprised of the absolute highest quality pigments with the highest lightfastness rating for maximum colour stability and performance. The lightfastness of each pigment is matched evenly across each pigment ingredient to reduce colour shifting.
NO, because they are comprised of high-quality ingredients, have high lightfastness and concentration. They will only become a lighter version of the original colour(s).
DO NOT WORRY!!! The skin is injured and this reaction is normal as the undertones of these colours have an orange base to prevent ashing out. This disappears after healing in about 1 week. Prepare your client to expect discolouration for up to three days so they are not surprised by this temporary effect. Read more about this here.
No. The only colour that will heal grey is GREY. All the colours in the set have been formulated to avoid ashy, healed results. However, if any colour is inserted too deep into the skin, or applied over cool, red/pink undertones, the colour may look ashy.
Old PMU should be faded by a minimum of 50% in order to hide/cover up the original PMU successfully. The desired target colour can be applied directly with no additional colour correction necessary. For example, you can cover old faded red or grey eyebrows directly with DARK BROWN if that is your client’s desired colour. Read more on the blog here.
Yes, EBONY is a great colour for eyeliner that is brown-black in formulation. Please note this a carbon-based pigment.
Absolutely! Read our Pigments FAQs Blogpost here.
Tina has created the Sunset Collection as an easy-to-use set of warm permanent makeup eyebrow colours to provide for your redhead clients. You no longer have to guess or go through extreme modifications with this warm brown series.
Sunset, Toffee, and Autumn will be the new go-to shades that you can use on their own OR to modify other colours in the I ❤️ Ink Pigment Collection to create the perfect custom shade to fit your client’s needs. You can read more on our blog.
“Creating this pigment collection specifically for redheads was crucial because I see artists being challenged every day to match the right red or warm tone to their client’s hair and skin tone. Also, another bonus is that any of these colours can be used as a warm modifier for faded PMU that is grey and cool.”- Tina Davies
This is the skin type that is considered very “cool”, presenting with pink or red undertones. Each of these colours can be safely used for these skin types because they are more golden and warmer, which will heal nicely in the skin without ashing out. See our case study.
The ingredients are a combination of pigments, glycerin, witch hazel, aqua, rosin, benzyl alcohol, and isopropyl alcohol. It is gamma-ray sterilized, vegan and cruelty-free. Please see our Pigment MSDS for full ingredient listings.
Sunset and Blonde contains a small amount of Iron Oxide. Iron oxides by themselves don’t seem to be stable for PMU, but when mixed with organic pigments they stay together and last a long time.
Sunset, Toffee, and Autumn will be the new go-to shades that you can use on their own OR to modify other colors in the I ❤️ Ink Pigment Collection to create the perfect custom shade to fit your client’s needs. If you want a warm Dark Brown, go with Autumn, if you want medium warm brown, go with Toffee, if you want warm Golden Blonde, go with Sunset.
Sunset might not be enough to completely cancel out the grey, however, Toffee will neutralize any grey. Read more on the blog.
These two shades are very similar, however, Sunset is more ginger/orange toned.
The pigments have an expiry date at the back of each label. Closed pigments have a shelf life of 3 years, once pigment is opened it has a 1 year shelf life.
This line has been exclusively developed by Tina Davies in collaboration with Perma Blend in a range of 12 new and modern colors. The collection is part of an entire system that helps to bring the lip blushing tattoo process full circle: Try it, draw it, ink it, blush it. In addition, the I LOVE INK Lip pigments have a higher pigment load than those in the Perma Blend line. With maximum pigment load, you can get your clients desired results in as little as one treatment. Each set also includes an easy-to-use Colour Chart for quick reference and easy colour selection. Read more on the blog here.
Knowing that the retention on lip tattooing can oftentimes be challenging, these pigments have been specifically formulated with maximum pigment load to yield the highest level of retention after one treatment. The results soften and lighten by 30%-50% post-treatment based on technique and colour selection.
These pigments do not need to be modified. You may choose to modify if your client has very cool-toned lips.
We do not recommend any artists with less than 2 years experience attempt this. To warm up cool or brown lips, Peach, Orange Coral and Flame are suitable modifiers. This should be a procedure of its own. Once healed, proceed with the desired target colour.
With maximum pigment load, there will be minimal touch ups required. However, we always recommend booking a follow-up appointment with your client for any adjustments.
Our new I Love Ink Lip Collection is not just a product, it’s a new way to do lip procedures. Here’s how the process works:
STEP 1 - TRY IT
Re-imagine your consultations by allowing your clients to try out the colour(s) they would like to have done by using our lip blush stain that is perfectly paired to the pigments. Easily narrow down the selection to your client’s favourite colour(s). Reference the colour chart for easy selection. Learn more on our blog.
STEP 2 - DRAW IT
Pre-draw the shape with the matching pencil. A sharpener is included for precision sharpening. This helps your client get even more comfortable with your ability to deliver their desired outcome.
STEP 3 - INK IT
Tattoo the lips with the ink colour your client selected.
STEP 4 - BLUSH IT
Supply your client with a few lip blush stains so she can enhance or top-up her lips after the healing process for the “extra pop of colour”.
Learn more on our blog.
The process of trying on the colour will help the client to envision the colour in a “general” way, to give them comfort, not to guarantee an exact healed result. It’s an artist tool that simplifies the process of decision making. Of course, the final outcome is comprised of the client’s natural base tone + pigment + saturation + technique = end results
The pigments have an expiry date at the back of each label. Closed pigments have a shelf life of 3 years, once pigment is opened it has a 1 year shelf life.

Famous for their superior quality and consistent craftsmanship, Kwadron needles are the gold standard in both body tattoo and PMU. Known for their extreme sharpness and precision, Kwadron cartridges help artists to create pixel-perfect dots, shading and blends with exacting precision coupled with easy implantation that you can depend on, each and every time.
The Optima needles were developed especially with PMU artists in mind with a focus on precision and stability demands of such delicate and fine work on the face such as eyebrows, eyes, and lips.
Read more on the blog here.
Needles are like brushes, each able to create a distinct design based on its number of needles and diameter. Smaller needle groupings create smaller designs vs. larger needle groupings. You can choose the needle sizes based on the skin type and artwork that you are trying to create. As a rule of thumb, the thinner and more delicate the skin, the smaller needle diameter you would use.
Read more on the blog here.
They are compatible with the most popular tattoo machines that accept standard needle cartridges such as Xion and Cheyenne but will not fit PMU devices such as Nouveau Contour and Biotek.
Each box of Kwadron Optima comes with 20 individually packaged EO sterilised disposable cartridges.
Full membrane. Kwadron was recently awarded the patent to create these full membrane cartridges. The full membrane cartridge will prevent backflow into your machine.
Optima Cartridges are the newest line of PMU needles and were released in October 2019.
We carry a variety of liner and shader needles in gauges that range from 0.25mm - 0.30mm.

Perma Blend’s colours are more vast with a broad palette offering. Tina Davies I LOVE INK is made by Perma Blend and is an eyebrow line that is pre-modified for less ashy results and has a simplified colour selection approach. Find out more on our blog here.
Yes, these pigments are designed to be used with both manual microblading and machine PMU just like I LOVE INK.
Modification of the colour is up to the artist based on the artistic goal/challenge. Customization and modification is the beauty of the Perma Blend line. You can mix any way you want to create custom colours or modifications suited to your needs.
No, it is not recommended to do so as all brands have varied formulations and results can be unpredictable.
Toners and correctors are used by the advanced artist to correct or modify previous permanent makeup that has faded to undesired colours such as red, orange, green, grey and blue.
Toners are more transparent as they lack white pigment, a.k.a. Titanium Dioxide. Since they are more transparent, they act to shift the undertone of the existing colour, rather than give full coverage. Correctors contain Titanium Dioxide which makes them more opaque. A good analogy would be a light and sheer coverage foundation vs. a heavier, more opaque full coverage foundation.
At the end of the day, there isn’t a very noticeable difference between the two. However, the Thick Solution has more glycerin.
The pigments have an expiry date at the back of each label. Closed pigments have a shelf life of 3 years, once pigment is opened it has a 1 year shelf life.
To elevate the craft of microbalding and the artists who practice it.
To provide resources and establish high standards for the microblading industry.
