CPNP Restrictions Update

Important announcement from Tina Davies Professional

EC Regulation 1223/2009 on cosmetics sets binding requirements for cosmetic products that have been made available on the market within the European Union.

In order to comply with Cosmetics Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009, we are required to prepare a product safety report prior to placing a product on the EU market and notify our products via the EU Cosmetic Products Notification Portal (CPNP).

We are currently working on getting our cosmetic products registered for distribution in order to continue selling within the EU market.

What is CPNP?

The cosmetic products notification portal (CPNP) is an online notification system created for the implementation of Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009 on cosmetic products. Cosmetics Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009 regulation requires manufacturers of cosmetics to prepare a product safety report prior to placing a product on the market and notify their products via the EU Cosmetic Products Notification Portal (CPNP).

What does this mean for our EU customers?

Until we get the registration confirmation from the CPNP, the following products will no longer be available to purchase until further notice:

• Lip Blush Stains
• Lip Pencils
• Envy and Lust Lip Collections
• Eyebrow Pencils
• Lip Duos
• Lip Trios

When will these products be available again?

Currently, we do not have an estimated date for when the registration into CPNP will be completed/finalized. Once the process is complete, we will send an email notification out to all our customers to make them aware these items are now back in stock.
